ilarasway Beauty Tips: Ideal Skin Perfector by Marcelle

I've had the chance to try the Ideal Skin Perfector (ISP) from Marcelle Cosmetics and I gotta say that this is a real beauty find.
Although I wasn't sure how to use it at first, now it became part of my morning beauty routine, which you can see here.

I am very picky when having to try new creams. I used to breakout insanely and putting all kind of stuff on my face is my biggest fear. But, I decided to give it a try when I saw that it had many benefits such as gluten, paraben free, especially hypo-allergenic perfume free and tested by the dermatologists!
Knowing that the Ideal Skin Perfector was approved by the Canadian Dermatologists Association put my barriers down.

I've been using the Ideal Skin Perfector for now 2 months and it made my skin clearer, smoother and uniform. It even made the small lines on my forehead invisible.

I mass my face and neck with the ISP, before starting my morning routine as a serum. I use it first in my beauty routine, after of course cleaning my face because I want my pores to absorb it well.
For this all skin type friendly cream, I give a big thumbs up and will definitely be on my skin-care purchases list!

If you want to give it a try, buy it here.

The #Marcelle Women Beauty Party

Dear Fashionistas and Beauty lovers,
In this post, I will be telling you about a beauty event I attended two months ago in downtown Montreal, #MarcelleWomen.
Yes, its been quite awhile since this beauty party,
but I had such a good time that skipping over it was just…
I don't know, I had to write about it.
Marcelle Women was an incredible beauty party organized by the well-known cosmetics company, Marcelle
First, getting the invitation was such a surprise and an honour since I knew I would be encountering and sharing beauty tips with talented Montreal beauty bloggers and Youtubers like me. Taking place at Hotel le Crystal, Marcelle Women was a night filled of girly conversations, beauty discoveries and delicious hors-d'oeuvres on the sound of lounge music. Plus, I got the chance to meet the Revenge TV-series star and the brand's face, Karine Vanasse, who was so kind-hearted.
The cherry on the sunday was when Montreal's beauty guru, Jean François CD gave me essential tips about eyebrows! Major excitement here! You will definitely understand if you check out his Youtube and Instagram pages. Overall, I felt like "poisson dans l'eau"! Thank you to all Marcelle Cosmetics team for such a great night.
P.S. During the Marcelle Women party, I made a beauty discovery, which I will be sharing with you in my next blogpost.

Garnet: January Stone

One of my resolutions for 2015 is to move away from the black. This is why, for the upcoming year, I will be adding more colourful pieces to my wardrobe. I decided to start the New Year afresh by focusing on the month of January's birthstone - the Garnet. As you can read in my last post "Burgundy Fever", Deep Red is already a rich colour I love implementing in my outfits.
However, in my opinion, if we are looking at one perfectly structured outfit, it should be logically composed of one central colour, one neutral tone which will compliment the main colour, without being overbearing. Finally, the fun part of an outfit is adding some textures and patterns to the whole. (On a side note, textures and patterns will be very present in the year to come).
For example, if the central piece of my outfit was a burgundy dress, adding black-calf haired booties and a black leather jacket is a must in order to avoid an in-your-face outfit, while still being fashionable.
Fashion means simplicity and one must never forget that the most beautiful things are always simple.

I wish a Happy New Year to all my fellow readers, filled of beautiful simple things.

Garnet: January Stone
