Goodtime at The Beauty and The Beeeef!

Dear Foodie Lovers, so recently the Beauty and The Beeeef Bar & Restaurant opened right beside my university, Concordia and I have been craving to try it every time I passed by.

Finally, my friend, Fatima and I decided to give it a try.
As soon as we stepped in, we fell in love at first sight with their amazing "boucheron"- vintage rock decor style. We ordered poutines, which were absolutely delicious, not only that, their menu is quite creative and very unique.

For those who don't know about poutines, it is a typical Quebecois dish. Its a mix of french fries, cheese and barbecue-type sauce. I know it sounds quite weird, but I guarantee the deliciousness of this dish.

Black & White Stripes at Joverse Bar

Not long ago, my friend was celebrating his birthday at the well-known Joverse bar in the Old Port of Montreal! Since I wasn't sure of the ambiance and style of this place, I decided to go with a casual but fashionable outfit that I would dress up with my accessories. I went with this stripped black and white camisole from Zara that I absolutely love because it gives a little glimpse of skin without revealing too much.
Since I went with a sleeveless top, I decided to tone it down at the bottom with my white pants from Vero Moda. I always had problems with pants. They are always too long and not every store has a “petite section”. So at the last minute, I decided to cut these pants without really knowing about the final result. I guess its not too bad! I always feel annoyed to have extra fabric crumpled at my ankle.
The blue shoes I wore were from the spanish brand, Pedro Miralles from the store Alton Gray in Montreal. These shoes are like walking on fluffy clouds and are ideal for long night outs!

Fall Glam Outfit Inspiration

This is the color palette that I will never get tired off. I always seem to come back to the red and gold shades with a neutral black tone! Whatever is the trendy palette right now, I will always choose what fits me best!

R.I.P. Oscar de la Renta

Fall/Winter 2013

On Monday, an icon of the fashion world, Oscar de la Renta left us so suddenly. He was known for his beautiful gowns, thoughtful sayings and glamorous & classy style. When I heard the news, I couldn't believe it that such an important person wasn't anymore with us. Undoubtedly, he left us a marvellous and unforgettable heritage composed of beautiful fashion pieces.

As an hommage to this amazing fashion designer, I will be posting everyday, until the end of the month, an "Oscar de la Renta" quote!

Oscar de la Renta most unforgettable dresses...

1. Julianna Marguiles in Winter Gown at the 2001 Golden Globes

2. Of course, Amal Alamuddin's wedding dress

3. Amy Adams at the 2013 Academy Awards

4. Sarah Jessica Parker "Charles James" inspired dress at the 2014 Costume Institute Gala

5. Taylor Swift at the 2014 Costume Institute Gala

My "coup de coeur" from all Oscar de la Renta's dresses... I had already made a post about the 2014 Costume Institute

I had already made a post about the 2014 Costume Institute Gala and Taylor Swift's dress was in my top 5... If you haven't read it yet, click here

Oscar, you will always stay in my heart!

At night, it happens at HOLDER!

Last night, I met with my girlfriends for a girls night out and decided to try Holder bar & restaurant in the Old Port of Montreal.

What I loved the most is there classy ambiance, with a librarian-irish vibe at the bar! You must wonder how something can have that kind of vibe because its just hard to imagine. The dim lights and books all around the bar area gave a classy and contemporary look to the place in addition of all those businessmen and women cheering after work time!
I liked how their menu was simple and understandable although the place was located in an pricey area like the Old Port.

Had a blast catching up time with my girlfriends and glancing over at the handsome people :)

On the way to Holder

Cheers!

ALEXANDERWANGXHM: My 12 Favorite Pieces

As all of you know, the collaboration of Alexander Wang with H&M is hitting the stores very soon! With a palette of black, white and gray, he created a sporty, minimalistic and affordable collection intended for the grand public!

Since I am a total fan of this genius designer and already made a previous post announcing his collaboration when the news popped up, I felt like not doing a follow-up article didn't make sense!

So here are my favorite pieces from the ALEXANDERWANGXHM Collaboration!

This grey parka is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for the cold winter weather of Montreal!

I love the way this shirt fits like a corset at the bottom.
Its not because an outfit looks sporty and minimalistic, that it is not elegant!

These pants with the shirt above and ready to go out with class!

Because one leather jacket is not enough

I need this one in my closet!

Casual and Comfy. I would match these leggings with the shirt and leather jacket above!

I would get these in both colors!

Love the material!
LBD

For the casual days at university!

Can't get enough of leather!

This is for the boyfriend!

Can't wait for the launching of the Collection and rock my favorite pieces!

Soho Bijoux in Montreal

An edgy store with a Soho feel, located right in the heart of downtown Montreal, I want more of those! With jewelry coming from all over the world, Soho is my one-stop shop for unique pieces that dress up my simple outfits. Collections coming from Bali, Italy and New York, I have a variety of styles to choose from metals like sterling silver to beautiful gemstones, perfect for any occasion!

It caught my attention! I love the fact they support the local artists of Montreal like Anne-Marie Chagnon and NES, who are the pioneers of the sculpture-jewelry style, which in my opinion is the next level of the big and bulky jewelry seen on the runways of the New York Fashion Week!
